Additional Guidelines for Teaching, Learning, Examinations, and Work Operations (Energy Reduction Measures)
In accordance with the Cabinet Resolution dated March 22, 2026, regarding measures to address the global energy price crisis, Kasetsart University has issued the following guidelines to save resources and fuel:
1. Teaching, Learning, and Examination Management
- Transition to Online: Instructors are encouraged to adjust teaching formats by reducing on-site instruction and increasing online instruction where appropriate.
- On-site Exceptions: Classes that require physical presence—such as laboratory sessions or practical training—may continue on-site as necessary. These must strictly comply with energy-saving measures and require sequential approval from the Program Chair, Dean, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the President.
2. Work Operations (WFH / WFA)
Supervision: Supervisors are responsible for assigning and monitoring tasks through electronic means or other appropriate methods.
Implementation Date: Effective from April 16, 2026, all units are required to implement Work from Home (WFH) or Work from Anywhere (WFA) arrangements.
Frequency: Remote work is permitted for no more than two days per week until further notice.
Essential Services: Personnel providing direct services to students/the public, or those whose roles require on-site presence, shall continue to work on-site as determined by their Unit Head to ensure uninterrupted service.
