Program Overview

The Senior Visiting Professor and Researcher Support Program is a strategic initiative of Kasetsart University International College (KUIC) aimed at advancing internationalization and enhancing academic and research excellence.

The program invites distinguished scholars, highly experienced researchers, and senior visiting professors from leading international universities and research institutions to collaborate with KUIC as advisors, mentors, guest lecturers, and research partners.

Through this initiative, KUIC strengthens the capabilities of faculty members, researchers, research assistants, and students while expanding academic and research networks within Kasetsart University and with partner institutions worldwide.

Program Objectives

Enhance Research and Academic Excellence

Engage senior visiting professors and researchers as advisors and collaborators in KUIC research projects and international academic programs, supporting high-quality research and internationally recognized publications.

Strengthen Faculty and Student Capacity

Enhance the global competencies of faculty members, researchers, and students through mentorship, academic exchange, and collaborative research aligned with national development priorities and global challenges.

Expand International Research Partnerships

Establish and strengthen collaboration between KUIC, Kasetsart University, and leading universities and research institutions worldwide through international academic networks.

Promote Knowledge Transfer and Global Engagement

Facilitate advanced knowledge exchange through guest lectures, academic seminars, workshops, and collaborative activities for faculty members, students, researchers, and interested participants.

Duration of Appointment

Standard Period Up to 1 year.
Extension The appointment may be extended for a total period of up to 2 consecutive years, or as required by academic or research project needs, subject to approval by the KUIC Executive Board on a case-by-case basis.
