Student Exchange Program (KUSEP)

Purpose

Upon admission to KUSEP, the students will be enrolled as Visiting Students. They will receive a student KU ID card and will have the same rights and responsibilities as other regular KU students.

Upon completion of their studies, a certificate of completion will be awarded, and an official transcript of record will be provided to the student.

Eligibility

International students who meet the following conditions are eligible to apply for KUSEP:

  • Students must be enrolled as full-time students in their home university, and
  • Students must have university-level proficiency in English: students may provide evidence of their English proficiency (if a non-native English speaker) via a reliable English proficiency test (IELTS or equivalent) or by other assessment as attested to in the partner institution’s nomination letter)

Tuition & University fees

Tuition and University Fees are 60,000 THB / semester. These costs do not include accommodation, living allowance, university uniform, visa, insurance, etc. which must be paid by each student.

Academic Program

Visiting KUSEP students may petition to take bachelor-level classes offered by any of the five identified international programs.

Students should identify one host faculty and select the major area of study offered by their host faculty.

Select one: Students can enroll in classes as appropriate to their career development from one of 6 different faculties at Kasetsart University:

  1. Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurial Economics (EEBA, Faculty of Economics)
  2. International Undergraduate Program (IUP, Faculty of Engineering)
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Software and Knowledge Engineering
  • Digital Manufacturing and Robotics Intergration Engineering
  1. Tropical Agriculture (Faculty of Agriculture)
  2. Integrated Tourism Management (KITMAN, Faculty of Humanities)
  3. Faculty of Business Administration
  4. Faculty of Science

Bachelor-level KUSEP students visiting Kasetsart University must take at least 3 courses (9 KU credits) but may not enroll in more than 7 courses (21 KU credits) per semester.

  • NOTE: Most of the classes at KU provide 3 KU credits, but some subjects will give only 1 or 2 KU credits … you can check credits with us.
