เมื่อวันที่ 25 ตุลาคม 2567 เวลาเที่ยงคืน สำนักพระราชวังประกาศ เรื่อง สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง สวรรคต เมื่อวันที่ 24 ตุลาคม 2568 เวลา 21.21 น. ณ โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ สิริพระชนมายุ 93 พรรษา
สาเหตุเสด็จสวรรคตจากการประชวรด้วยภาวะติดเชื้อในกระแสพระโลหิต พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว มีพระบรมราชโองการโปรดเกล้าโปรดกระหม่อมให้สำนักพระราชวังจัดการพระศพ ถวายพระเกียรติยศสูงสุดตามราชประเพณี
ประดิษฐานพระศพ ณ พระที่นั่งดุสิตมหาปราสาท ในพระบรมมหาราชวัง
ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าโปรดกระหม่อมให้พระบรมวงศานุวงศ์ และข้าทูลละอองธุลีพระบาทในราชสำนัก ไว้ทุกข์ถวาย มีกำหนด 1 ปี ตั้งแต่วันสวรรคตเป็นต้นไป
The Royal Household Bureau issued an announcement at midnight on October 25, 2025, regarding the demise of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
Her Majesty passed into eternal rest on October 24, 2025, at 9:21 P.M., at Chulalongkorn Hospital, at the venerable age of 93.
The cause of Her Majesty’s demise was complications arising from a bloodstream infection (septicaemia).
His Majesty the King has issued a Royal Command instructing the Royal Household Bureau to manage the Royal Funeral Rites, which shall be accorded the highest Royal honours in accordance with established Royal tradition.
The Royal Remains shall be installed for Lying-in-State at the Dusit Maha Prasad Throne Hall within the Grand Palace.
His Majesty the King has graciously commanded that all members of the Royal Family and Court Officials observe a period of mourning for one year, commencing from the date of Her Majesty’s demise.
泰国王室宫务处于2025年10月25日凌晨发布公告，宣布诗丽吉王太后殿下于2025年10月24日晚21时21分在朱拉隆功医院（Chulalongkorn Hospital）驾崩，享年93岁。
公告指出，王太后殿下因败血症引起的并发症而逝世。泰王玛哈·哇集拉隆功陛下已下令王室事务处以最高规格的皇家传统举行葬礼，并将王太后殿下的灵柩安奉于大皇宫的兜率摩诃殿（Dusit Maha Prasad Throne Hall）。
泰王陛下同时谕令所有王室成员和宫廷官员服丧一年，以示哀悼。
